BOBA FETT - 2013 - NEW VARIATION?????

I was doing my normal browsing of all of the PEZ websites and I noticed something new today. On the official PEZ website, www.pez.com, if you go to the "collectors corner" and view the year "2013" then you will see they updated the page to include the new Monsters University dispensers. They have also included a new "Boba Fett" dispenser for 2013. Has anyone heard of a new variation? I compared the one I have to the picture but I can't really tell the difference. The newer one looks to be a little brighter in color. Regardless, I will be out tomorrow and I will be picking up the new version!

UPDATE- A rep from the official PEZ Facebook page confirmed that there is a new Boba Fett dispenser. The new one is a different, brighter color.

LOONEY TOONS - EURO RELEASE

The new Looney Toons set is starting to ship to stores in Europe. You guys should start seeing these pop up in stores over the next few weeks!

SWEETS AND SNACKS EXPO - 2013 - PEZ CANDY

The annual "Sweets and Snacks Expo" is this week in Chicago, IL. The PEZ company has released a press release highlighting news for 2013-2014. It's not much but it is enough to get you excited about next year!

It looks as though next year in the U.S. we will see the release of ANOTHER Hello Kitty tin, Angry Birds and the one I'm most excited about, Scooby Doo!!!

SUPERMAN - EURO RELEASE

I know most of us, especially here in the U.S., have had the Superman dispenser in our collections for quite awhile now. The Superman dispenser was recently released in Europe so if you live in that part of the world you should be able to pick that one up soon if you haven't already. Below is a picture of the Superman on the euro card.

SUPERMAN & GREEN LANTERN - NEW CARDS

As most of you know already, at the beginning of the year when PEZ released their new release information, they had stated that we in the U.S. would get a new Superman dispenser in April. Well, that didn't happen. The Superman dispenser was released in Europe. Today while I was at the store, I saw today that the Superman and Green Lantern dispensers are now put on new cards. For those of you that collect dispensers on different cards, here is a new one to pick up!

Not much to look at but it is something new for you guys that collect different cards.

"COLLECTOR'S TRADE POST"

We've added another new page to the PEZ HUNTERS site, the "Collectors Trade Post". This page is for ALL PEZ collectors that visit the PEZ HUNTERS site. Coming in contact with and trading with other collectors has become my favorite thing about collecting PEZ. When my daughter and I started this site, my hopes were that I would be able meet other collectors and help bring other collectors together to meet and trade as well. This page will serve as the meeting spot for everyone to post the PEZ they have for trade and contact information. I really hope everyone will participate in this. If you have 1 dispenser to trade or 100 dispensers, make your post! The more people the better!

MONSTERS UNIVERSITY - NOW AT WALMART, AC MOORE, WORLD MARKET AND PARTY CITY

I visited my local Walmart store this morning and to my surprise, they had the new Monsters Unversity dispensers on the shelves. They have a very large quantity. Check your local Walmart over the next day or so and you should be able to pick these up for yourself, or you could always trade with me since I have an extra set!!!

Other collectors have reported finding them at AC Moore, World Market and Party City

NEW PAGES ADDED TO PEZ HUNTERS

We have added 2 new pages to our website. You will see at the top of the home page there is now a tool bar with 3 tabs that can be selected, the "Trade" page, the "Wanted" page and the "Home" page.

The TRADE PAGE shows all of the current extras that we have for trade. The items on the page will change as we acquire and trade more duplicates. If anyone sees anything on the page that you need, please email me and we can work something out. As our collection grows, so does our duplicates!

The WANTED PAGE shows the dispensers and sets that we are currently looking for. If anyone has any of these items and would like to trade, please email me and we can work something out. There are actually a few dispensers on the page we have been looking for since our first month collecting PEZ!

There will be another page addition coming in the future that will show all of the dispensers in our collection. This page is currently a work in progress and will be up as soon as I am able to finish getting it together. 

I hope the new additions will help put me in contact with more of you guys. I really enjoy communicating with other PEZ collectors. Please don't hesitate to email me if there is anything on the Trade Page you are interested in!

MONSTERS UNIVERSITY DISPENSERS - POPPING UP IN STORES!!!

Other collectors have reported seeing the new Monsters University dispensers at Party City. They should start popping up in other stores soon. If you have a Party City in your area, that's a good place to start! I know I'll be checking the Party City in my area as soon as they open tomorrow!!!

NEW PEZ ALERT - HELLO KITTY CRYSTALS - EURO RELEASE - NOW AVAILABLE

For my European friends, the new Hello Kitty Crystal dispensers are now available. You should be able to find these at your local PEZ hot spot. For those of us in the United States, you can now pick up the set of 4 on eBay. There seem to be plenty available. The average price+shipping is roughly $17.

Good news! If you can't wait a few more weeks, you can pick up the set of 4 new Monsters University dispensers from the PEZ Collectors News Store HERE. They're selling the set of 4 for $10.00+shipping.

That's a really good sign for those of us that are waiting to pick them up in store, that means they are already shipping to stores. We should see them popping up in stores in our areas very soon!

WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON DISPENSER NOW FOR SALE + NEW CINDERELLA NOW ON EBAY

You can now pick up the single dispenser of our 9th President, William Henry Harrison. This is the only President dispenser you can pick up by itself, as the rest will be released with the Presidential box sets.  The dispenser is being sold through the Grouseland Foundation for $2.99+shipping. You can find all of the info on their Facebook page HERE. You can also call 812-882-2096 and place your order over the phone.

The new Cinderella dispenser which is currently being sold on the PEZ website has now started popping up on eBay. If you can't wait until they start showing up in stores, you can pick yourself up one now from either of these sources. I'd recommend getting it from eBay if possible because you'll end up paying a little less. From the PEZ site, once the shipping is added you'll be paying about $9!!! On eBay the average for the new Cinderella dispenser after shipping is around $6.

Aside from the hockey dispensers there are quite a few of each sport dispenser that we currently need to complete our sets. I figured the easiest way to start completing these is one set at a time. THE ELUSIVE HOUSTON ASTROS CAP

When the MLB Cap dispensers were first for sale on the PEZ website, you could purchase each dispenser except for the Astros cap. Apparently, shortly after the others sold out they Astros caps were placed for sale as well. These quickly sold out. I was under the impression that this dispenser hadn't been released yet and that nobody had gotten it yet. I was wrong. I have spoken with a few other collectors that have been able to add the Houston Astros cap to their collections. I was wondering if anyone out there had an extra Houston Astros cap for trade or sell? We are only 2 away from completing our MLB cap set and this one will certainly be the hardest to find.

PEZ COLLECTORS MAY 2013 NEWSLETTER

If you're a PEZ collector then the first thing you should do is subscribe to the free monthly newsletter from Chris Jordan at the PEZ Collectors Store. If you haven't done that yet, don't wait! Do it now....go ahead, I'll wait........PEZ Collectors Store.......alright, today the new MAY 2013 Newsletter was sent out and it is pack full of great info.

To hit some of the highlights....

HELLO KITTY CRYSTALS will be releasing in Europe in the next 2 weeks. The PEZ Collectors Store will have them in stock soon so you'll be able to place your order for this great set!

HELLO KITTY PLUSH will be hitting stores in the U.S. in June. There are 3 in the set with 2 of them being a new design. There is Hello Kitty with the red bow and red stem, Hello Kitty with the pink stem and pink flower and My Melody (previously released). These should be easy to find here in the U.S. but if you can't find them in store, you can always pick up your set at the PEZ Collectors Store.

WINNIE THE POOH (Updated mold) has began showing up in some European countries. The new version of Winnie the Pooh has a thinner face, painted tongue and is taller. There are no plans for an updated mold in the U.S. so it looks as though this may be a European only release. The PEZ Collectors Store will have these in stock for order once there is broader distribution.

8 NEW SOCCER BALLS ft. GERMAN BUNDESLIGA FOOTBALL TEAMS will release in Europe in June. The teams included Hamburg HSV, Schalke 04, Dortmund Borussia BVB, FC Koln, Werder Bremen, Borussia, Gladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt and Fortuna Dusseldorf. These will be available through the PEZ Collectors Store towards the end of June.

The Grouseland Foundation will be selling individually packaged dispensers of President William Henry Harrison. The presidents have only been available with the box sets and this will be the only time you can pick up this dispenser as a single. The dispenser is packaged on a generic style card. The proceeds from the sale of this dispenser will go to the restoration of William Henry Harrison's Grouseland.
