NEW PEZ ALERT - EASTER GIFT SETS

It was first thought there was one new Easter Gift Set, fortunately for us there are actually 4 new Easter Gift Sets!  I've not seen these in stores yet so if anyone has any info on these, please share!

NEW PEZ ALERT ???????

We are hoping someone can give us some information on the Phineas and Ferb gift tin in the photo below. This picture popped up on FB yesterday with many others asking the same question. My best guess is that this gift tin is a Mexico release but I certainly could be wrong. If anyone has any information on this one, please share!

2014 VISITORS CENTER PREVIEW

A collector from the PEZ Community Facebook group posted a photo today taken at the PEZ Visitors Center. The photo shows a display case filled with 2014 new releases.

The dispensers in the photo include the four new Minnie Mouse dispensers, the two new Disney Planes, El Chupacabra and Dusty. You can also see the recently released Space Alien from Toy Story and the Valentine's Monkey. Dr. Doofenshmirtz and the new Emergency Heroes set can also be seen in addition to the Angry Birds set that will be released in the U.S. in a new gift tin later in the year.

The dispenser that got my attention the most (mainly because it's the only one in the picture we haven't seen yet) was the Mater dispenser that will be in the "World of Cars" set that will be released in the U.S. in June. If you look closely you can see that the stem is printed with checkered flags. Very cool!

VERY COOL FANTASY SET - GHOSTBUSTERS!!!

Being a kid in the 80's, this fantasy set is so freakin' cool to me! I loved the Ghostbusters then and I love the Ghostbusters now. Needless to say, it was upsetting to see Harold Ramis pass away, he was an amazing talent. This set is very cool and from the looks of the pictures, I believe these dispensers actually do work. The set includes all four Ghostbusters (Dr. Egon Spengler, Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddmore) and Slimer.

HIDDEN GEM

Sometimes the answer is right in front of your face!

Another collector from the Facebook group spotted a hidden gem on the official PEZ website. On the home page of the site, the photo of the NCAA basketball set shows a new version of the UConn basketball. I'm not sure if this is currently in stores or if it is shipping at a later date. I would imagine if it isn't out yet, it will be soon since March Madness is starting on Friday (Go Kentucky!) and I wouldn't think they'd put it up on the site if it wasn't coming soon. These usually tend to only be available in the state where the college is located. If anyone out there lives in Connecticut and could check their local stores for the new UConn Basketball dispenser, that would be great!

LOOKING AHEAD TO APRIL - NEW RELEASES

March is almost over and with a new month comes new releases! Your best bet to pick up the upcoming releases will be Walmart, Toys R Us and your local PEZ Hot Spot.

There's a brand new set coming in April! We are extremely excited for this one! We are finally getting a new Emergency Heroes set. The new set includes a Nurse, Policeman, Fireman and Army man.

FIRST LOOK - RIO 2 ON CARD

EASTER GIFT SET UPC CODE

I checked my local Cost Plus: World Market store today and they didn't have the Easter Gift Set. I've been in a few other stores as well and haven't had any luck. We still don't know if there are any stores other than Jungle Jims the will be carrying the new gift set. If anyone finds the new Easter Gift Set in store, let us know where you found it!

Below is the UPC code for the new Easter Gift Set. Having the UPC code makes it a lot easier for the person at the store to look it up when you ask them about it.

NEW PEZ ALERT - EASTER GIFT SET

This one surprised us for sure! Another collector posted the below photo online today. The new Easter Gift Set was found at Jungle Jims. Hopefully they will be in other stores as well. The new Easter Gift Set comes with the Grey Bunny and the Green Egg w/ Duck dispensers. If anyone else finds the new Easter Gift Set in a store other than Jungle Jims, please email me at Clayrichardson004@gmail.com and let us know where these can be found!

Personally, I think Cost Plus: World Market may be a good place to start looking since they exclusively carried the Christmas Gift Set.

NEW PEZ ALERT - EURO EASTER EGG - MINI FLOPPY-EARED BUNNY

If you're in the euro countries, keep a look out for the new PEZ Easter Egg with the Mini Floppy-Eared Bunny dispenser. This one looks really cool! We don't have any of the Easter Eggs yet in our collection, but I'd love for this one to be the first!

PEZ PREVIEW - MARCH-APRIL

The new year has already seen many new releases. There are lots more to come for the remainder of 2014. Take a look!

March 2014-
Captain America has already hit the shelves but there is another March release to keep your eyes open for. The Space Alien from Toy Story will be joining the rest of the set.

April 2014-
 Dr. Doofenshmirtz is joining the Phineas and Ferb set! Also coming in April, we get a new set of Pez Heroes. The set includes a Policeman, Fireman, Army man and a Nurse.

NEW PEZ ALERT - RIO 2

The new Rio 2 dispenser set has shown up for sale online. I believe these are a euro only release. If you're looking to add these to your collection, you should be able to find these online and in stores over the next few weeks.

2014 CAPTAIN AMERICA - NOW IN STORES - UPDATED 3/2/14

The new Captain America is now available in stores. Other collectors have reported finding this one at Party City. Other stores like Toys R Us and Walmart should have them soon if they don't already.

Update: (March 2nd, 2014) Today while shopping at Walmart, my daughter and I found the new 2014 Captain America on the shelf. Walmart stores have them on the card and Party City has them in the bag. There was only one in the entire PEZ display at our Walmart store. If you're looking to pick this one up, check your local Walmart and Party City stores.
